I bought this awesome fun hauler brand new in February 2008 but I have never used it. That’s right, it’s completely new and totally unused!!! The mattress is still wrapped in the plastic shipping cover. The reason for its non use is between my having a hard time getting away from my businesses, plus also having a motor home, as well as two other enclosed motorcycle trailers, I just don’t have need for this great trailer as it turns out and I’d like to have the storage room back. This trailer has spent all of its life inside out of the elements and the sun’s harsh rays, either inside of a heated building, or inside and in the back of my three sided RV & motor home building. It has been properly winterized by the dealership I bought it from upon delivery. This is a very nicely appointed trailer with lots of high quality cabinets and storage, as well as lots of windows and lights.
If you have been shopping for a fun hauler you know that this is the Cadillac of fun haulers. The Work and Plays are far heavier duty trailers than the RV oriented fun haulers. And if you have been researching these you also know that they retail in the $25,000 to $30,000 range. So you may be pleasantly surprised to find that I’m starting this new and unused sweetheart for UNDER $10,000! SPECIAL OPTIONS
I have a few special options that I wanted to explain in more detail -
* The MaxxAir covers mentioned in the Optional Features above are high speed vent covers which enable you to leave the roof vents open as far as you want at any towing speed without causing them to be damaged or ripped off of the roof. They also allow you to leave the vents completely open in a driving rain storm without leaking a drop through the roof vent.
* The six extra heavy duty flush mounted D-rings are mounted at the four corners of the cargo area, as well as at the lateral mid points. These have been professionally installed with steel plates on the under side of the cargo floor to give them plenty of strength.
* The winterization bypass system is mounted inside the trailer where it can be utilized while you are inside the trailer, i.e. at a rest area or hotel parking lot while on your way back into the freezing winter weather after you have enjoyed a warm weather get away with your bikes, UTV, etc. The system consists of a bypass valve plus a siphon filler tube assembly which attaches directly to your RV anti-freeze jug. This is a very handy way to winterize quickly and easily, and best of all, on the go on the highway while you’re staying warm and dry inside.
* The TG2 Super Vision Security Trailer Guard 2 alarm system is a very capable alarm system capable of protecting your luggage and favorite toy(s). This system is capable of working even with the rear ramp door completely open! It has professional grade sensors including a vibration sensor. It has an ear splitting 124 db siren hidden under the trailer. It has its own gel-cell battery to power it if the main electric is cut. This battery is charged from the trailers electric feeds anytime you are plugged into a power source. Additionally it is supplemented with a roof mounted solar charger, plus a corded wall charger for sunless inside storage. It comes complete with two key fob clickers for activation and deactivation, as well as activating the panic alarm. It also comes with a key fob remote two-way pager unit which has an LCD screen to show you where on the pictured trailer the intrusion is taking place. This remote pager has a range of approximately 1/2 mile. Imagine all of the fun you can have leaving the restaurant or watering hole around the corner from your trailer after your remote fob has alerted you, and knowing exactly where the intrusion took place so you can plan a proper welcoming for your uninvited guest! Many race horse owners trust their trailers hauling several million dollars of race horses to this same awesome alarm. It carries a lifetime warranty thanks to its extreme high quality.
* The Draw-Tite weight distribution hitch system is complete with the following items: the main hitch ball mount assembly with adjustable height, a pair of load levers (spring bars), plus a friction sway control system, all of which is already professionally set up for this trailer. This hitch assembly was all new when the trailer was originally purchased so it has been used only to bring this new and unused trailer to my house.
TERMS: Here are the terms for this auction. Please follow them exactly if you are going to bid on this auction. You will need to send me a deposit of $1,000.00 due within 48 hours of the auctions end. Do this by Next Day Air delivery or PayPal. You will then need to pay the total remaining balance still due within seven (7) days after the date of winning this auction. No exceptions to this time line so please don’t ask. You will need to provide me with two official bank checks (i.e. cashiers checks or money orders). I will give you the exact amounts for each of these checks in an eBay e-mail after you have won the auction. When you arrive to pick up the trailer you will be provided with a signed Bill of Sale in the exact amount of the winning bid. You must pick this trailer up at my address but you may leave the trailer at my storage building for up to thirty (30) days from the auctions end at no charge. After that you will need to work out a storage fee with me. NOTE: I will not release this trailer to you until I have been paid the total winning auction amount and have good funds (not pending bank checks) in my bank.
